As a former infantry man, I can also attest to the fact that radio communications are a serious matter in the military.

And while I am on the subject, thank God for Ronald Reagan and his GI Bill. I would never have joined the military if it wasn't for the money. I received 997 a month to go to college, got free tuition from the Texas VA, and a job at the military hospital while I went to college. Without my education, I would still be selling time share Recreational Vehicle lots in Calvada, NV.

I joined about two years after turning down an offer to join the Air Force Academy. But you know what they say, never look back.
