Doug, Lost you have half way through that. But as far as my opinions and posts go, some are great (the good, bad and ugly ones you referenced for example), some are good, some are average, some are yes, even poor. My ideas, and stock recommendations? About the same. Other than that, I work at my investing pretty hard and have a fair degree of sophistication. I certainly don't think I'm a "dummy", and nobody pays me money. My main motivation is to give the sector a bit more attention than it's received and I enjoy most of the exchanges here. I learn things from others as well. I am a forceful and opinionated writer, but's that's my style. Some readers may not like that, and if you have a problem with it, just skip my posts, won't break my heart. My profile? Don't know what the hell you're talking about there either, but it's my real name not a handle like Russ F W. Life stories? None of your business. Private messages? Get them all the time, and answer every one that's sincere.
Whether anybody makes any money off my posts, don't know what to tell you? I'd guess it's been tough. I've been active in the sector for two years, and would have to say, I haven't made much yet. Largely just a wash, but that's probably typically of most of us here. |
