sinfully expensive sheets into bedroom accessories sound.....ahhhhhh....sinful....and wonderful....
And they probably are r-e-a-l-l-y sinful, as regular sheets are quite sinfully expensive all by themselves. Do you remember in the not too distant past, that we could buy a set of sheets and pillowcases (percale 180tc) for about $25-30 for everything, and use them for shower presents...?
In the very distant past, when I was in HS, worked at JacquePennay, and good sheets were $3.98 for each top and bottom, and the cases were something like $2.00...... Of course, in those dark ages, I made something like $65.00 a week too...and thought it was a pretty good salary for just out of school....Graduate engineers from top schools came out making about $7,500 a year, and were happy....
In those years, we didn't think the world owed us a living...we just tried to show how good we were and thought we'd be rewarded with more money when we did. |
