Hi Cat: I can't see any reason for the "rally" to hold, even just through next week. Contrary to what seems to be popular opinion, stocks are at best "fully priced" and then some. I expect this will sink in more clearly next week as there is little to look forward to once a company has shared their "good news". I laugh when people say that "bad news is already priced into the market". I beg to differ. Denial is still the dominant thought process. Denial of current valuation imbalances. Denial of the economic situation. Denial of the prospects for any meaningful turnaround. Denial of global knock-on effects. Denial of the impact of a strong dollar. Denial of the damage that a weaker dollar would cause, would that we could get a lower dollar. And denial of what can happen to us as a debtor nation when the "FLIGHT TO QUALITY" mentality has run its course.
