Drew,

what evilsoft did to the browsers are inexcusable.

What you said is absolutely true. I have IE on my computer while my wife has Netscape on hers. Is there much difference, I don't think so.

Now why is that? Do you remember the days when we have a new and improved version of Netscape and IE every 6 months, or less? After MSFT bundled IE and destroyed Netscape's incentive to put any more money into it, all innovation (Evilgates favorite word) ceased.

In the end, the consumer lost again. When was the last browser upgrade? The consumer (Gates' word for sheep) will only see a better browser when MSFT decide it is appropriate.

Just imagine the type of browsers that would be available to the consumers today if there are two, three or more competitors.

That is why everytime I see Gates on TV, talking about how he innovates to help the consumers, I get that sick feeling in my stomach. Only the stupid sheep in NZ would be so happy, as they are led to the gateslaughter house to be processed into lamb chops.

Ramsey

ps Mq, please be succinct with your response. <gggg>
