Rarebird,I have always considered your point of view a valid contribution to this thread. How ever,having praised Human Creativity and Human Independent Thinking using capital letters in the same breath that you have given your philosophy of investment strategy, I am led to believe that suffer from such a profound philosophical missconception of self that your every waking thought would be tainted by it. Prowess on the trading floor is not what the great Humanists would considered a virtue.Quite the opposite infact.Your meaning in existance can't be measured by the dow or your bank account. You will certainly end up in Hades along side Tantalus, or perhaps Sysyphus would be more appropriate.Condemned to push a stone wheel (nasqad) up hill for all eternity.<g>
