I live in Bay Area. I could feel recession now. The traffic is much lighter than last year. There are a lot of sale in Safeway, which means a lot of people are moving out and less people buying food. Layoff is one of the topic when friends gathering together. Recent news said unemployment in California is 5.1% in June. But auto sales are good after checking out several dealers, especially Camry.
