I know that there are some expert Drive Image 4.0 users on this thread. My question involves replacing my current C: drive which is a IBM-DPTA 20g with a WDC 30 or 40g. I currently have an image of C on my D drive which is a 30g WDC. I think that I could remove the D and install the new drive as a slave which would allow me to format the new drive. Then I guess I would remove both drives and install the new (formatted) one as the C and reinstall the D that has the image on it. Can I then restore the image on to the new drive? Will the additional space on the new drive be usable? Is there an easier way? I have never restored an image so would appreciate any pointers.....ie.specific steps if any of this makes any sense.<GG> TIA Bob
