pally, responding to this and your last message. As to the AHA, my interpretation of the reuters article in view of the comments of Mr Fliescher was wrong. As or if the President is now using such language he may be making an error in political judgement. Or Mr.Fliescher was bagged in the heat of an interview loosing a poor choice of words. This poor choice of language I see as a bad political decision or error. But the President has to rule 95% totally technically ignorant folks and fighting the propaganda wars may make bad choices in words necessary.

Now as to the trees, There are also medical reasons in addition to climate change concerns. But if one is not certain of the CO2 proffer the cost of millions to sequester is not the Trillions to Kyoto. A cheap way to buy insurance and appease the frenzy of the green know it alls.

I would do these trees just on the merits of bio-diversity. But selling the reason of "sequester" CO2 may be the only way to sell the idea. Or buy green credits with the folks.
