while samsung posts a profit. iow, samsung can subsidize their dram ops until micron goes out
of business.

What I saw was that samsung electronics was making a loss or samsung semiconductors in any case the whole group of semis. Samsung of course is one of those interwoven Korean companies where it is very difficult to figure out what's where.
