Dear GS: I am sorry, but I think POLITICS should be left out of the Olympics. I remember years ago we boycotted olympics over POLITICS and people who had spent their ENTIRE LIFE preparing got the SHAFT. I am sick of Politics and feel they can only screw up the games. Frankly, in the LONG RUN I think China will come to learn that by insisting on getting the Olympics they will have inadvertently forced themselves to address and repair their abuses on human rights. Can you even IMAGIN what it is going to be like for them to have millions of foreigners coming to see the games and watching on t/v with CAMERAS EVERYWHERE? If that doesnt open up China I dont know what could. JDN
