Rare bird re read your post #73432and see how pompous you sound.In this market any body who announces that they will buy aggressively on a certain date months in advance is either clairvoyant or a fool.I would suggest you sit back and wait till october to make that investment decision.Alot can happen in 3 months. As to your post # 73454 I would suggest you try substituting"stock investor and stock bug"for" gold investor or gold bug."You may find the resulting statement closer to reality. You say it is important to shield yourself from the noise of the media and financial threads,yet you seem to parrot their optimism. My contribution to the thread is just to say what I feel,for in that dismal science of economics feelings are part of the equation.I do not pretend to be an expert on stockmarket.I do not pretend to know all the answers.
