While I can understand where you are coming from I can't agree. He is a democrat! Now he may not be one that you're proud of but he is a democrat. I can understand how and why the democrats would want to distance themselves from this because it looks bad. But to try and spin it to the extent where you say "he's not a democrat" is unfair. I'm sure his campaign was funded by the democrats and he was elected by democrats. Having said that (if we assume the worst) just because he is affiliated with a party you support does not indite or suggest that his actions are indicative of all democrats. I only wish that democrats would be so forgiving and level headed when they attack republicans who don't necessarily represent our party well.
