I think the problem Rambi has is the dog got so much attention. Children get their brains bashed out by their parents every week, it's common. Which is probably why it isn't on the front page every day- you have to kill a BUNCH of kids to get national coverage- or you can throw a dog into traffic. I agree with Rambi. There are murderers who will not serve the time that guy is serving. We EAT animals in this country. We eviscerate them, frequently while they are still alive, and then we rip their carcasses apart. Hard to get exercised about a dog when we kill thousands and thousand of animals all the time.

The inconsistency of justice in this country has never been better illustrated than in this case. If you want to do something heinous, do it in an old fashioned way that won't get noticed. Don't do anything unusual the media can get hold of or you will become a symbol, and the justice you receive will be out of all proportion to your crimes.
