The most stable social orders are repressive ones. One needn't look any further than the ants. 100 million years of fascism. A police class and a worker class. The queen is really only a figurehead. Very stable. A society which embraces differences in individuals is a relatively new evolutionary invention. Funny that people that think that preserving freedom means restricting the liberties of others in the nest. What kind of freedom is that? The freedom to be a "good little ant" that obeys the collective.
