gz: I assume you are referring to the statement asking the flight attendant to deny an affair by signing the statement. You must be aware and acknowledge that the statement indicated to make any changes if the statement was incorrect. She could have made any changes she wanted on the form.

1) Has Mr. Condit been under oath?
2) The police state a crime has not been committed.
3) The police state Mr. Condit is not a suspect.
4) Mr. Condit has passed a lie detector test given by an ex-FBI agent.
5) Mr. Condit allowed the police to enter his apartment 2-3 days after the young lady was determined to be missing, in order to answer questions . The police did not ask if they could look around Mr. Condit's place.
6) Mr. Condit was apologetic for not stating the nature of the relationship because he wanted to protect his family.
7) The treatment of Mr. Condit is straight out of 1984.

Given Mr. Condit is not a suspect, he has gone out of his way to help the police.

Charge him or treat him as a citizen with rights.
