Small potatoes stuff. IMO, it was more about the politics of failing than it was about health care. Uh, what's that sound like in English? I wouldn't say nothing; that's a chunk of electoral votes; throw in California [likely] and that's another chunk. I'd rather start off with two chunks than no chunks. Gore won those. And lost the election. Florida certainly wouldn't be a lock for Bush No problem. Our teams are down there stealing 2004 right now. [Assuming of course that Cheney allows Bush to run]. Bush may win North Dakota and Montana... Now HERE'S a novel concept! The Veep picking the Prexy! Hey, we could be the first ones counting electoral college votes for the 2004 election! Should we start a web site? It wasn't until a month AFTER the last election that a winner was determined and you want to do it NOW???
