the internet is a problem
it threatens the entire power structure
of the world as we know it
it makes stupid people smart
it makes poor people powerful
it makes barriers to entry non-existent
it makes a platform for the free flow and expression of information
(poor spellers can spell poor -->> get a point across - maybe even more powerfully because of poor spelling)

Who needs it
ivy league. PLEASE.
this is not good if one intends to suppress and control
this is not good if one intends to wield a heavy hand.
it's not like oil.
where you can just manipulate the entire fabric of the society
and peoples' perceptions about all that
the internet does not care about poor spelling.
the internet doesn't care about the price of oil.
the internet it doesn't care about the cost of paper
and who controls all those things.
the internet doesn't care about the cost of the toll
booth.
it doesn't care about the cost of hiring employees or the
price of a long distance phone call.
it doesn't care about the cost of canning fruit.
it doesn't care about those things.
it makes poor people see the world like rich people.
it makes the fabric of what the poor people have come to 'know'
come alive in struggles.
with a vengence.

a platform to brainstorm.
a watchdog.
checks and balance.
