AMD will be experiencing perhaps as much as a 50% increase in unit volume from Fab30 in 2002 just from the migration to 0.13-micron.

I doubt it. Athlon followons will not be even close to competitive without larger ondie L2. That means fewer DPW and judging from AMD's history, a major yield hit. AMD has never produced a large ondie L2 device, for obvious reasons.
