You may have misunderstood me. When I say "pessimistic" I'm referring to production levels. Optimistic = stays high, pessimistic = collapses. For gold bulls the collapse scenario is preferred, and Pollitt implies a worse collapse then even I do.

As far as Pollitt's bullishness (or mine) it is important to draw a distinction about what he is bullish on. He is clearly bullish on POG, and sounds bearish on certain producers (he mentioned high grading and ABX in the same breath). I'm not sure what his preferred plays are, if any, in the sector. I've been a table pounder on select advanced stage juniors, but few producers. I'm actually bearish on many of the later.
