Thanks, Reb (and Fez). I saw that piece earlier on te GX thread and mailed it off to a number of capacity planners I know. I wonder if Telechoice is making an enterprise version of MadCap available to Fortune 100s, some of whose networks approach the size of small facilities-based carriers and international resellers. This glut nonsense is really getting funny, approaching bizarre, if you work in the field. Right now I have a situation where one of the nation's top IXCs cannot give me a SONET Ring network (much less a dwdm gbe over discreet strands) because of 'congestion' and fiber exhaust conditions in a leading east coast city. Elsewhere, I'm still waiting anywhere from 90 up to 120 days for a T3 into other areas where there is no congestion or fiber exhaust (yet). When there is sufficient fiber, then the ports and the boxes that those ports sit in are missing in action. Just in time provisioning, they call it.
