I am in the process of switching some assessts into this sector and am reading and doing some research. As many, I am sure, I became an 'expert' in broadband only to get creamed anyway. I do not have the kind of time I devoted the past three years to that sector but am interested in feedback on Ballard from anyone who is current. Fuel cell technology appears to be up and coming both for mobile and stationary power generation with several players and more joining the wave. I know Ballard has some contracts and a product they are manufacturing, but what do their LT prospects look like in the field? I hear about companies in many different places here in the states, but little or no press coverage of Ballard in any of the on air reports. Though I am interested in individual companies, are there any Mutual funds that cover this sector. I also understand of all things that Electrolux is due out with a small hydrogen cell vacum cleaner in 2002. More of a novelty move I suppose. Heard a report on NPR one night. Does anyone know who the primary supplier(s) may be for these and other home or corporate power needs? Sure looks like a go in the next several years. Would be nice to get in with strong and well positioned players due to patents, prime technology, competent management and good mass appeal for their products. I appreciate any information and all efforts to answer this post. Solid
