Re: snob appeal - LV bags aren't fashionable around here, it's Coach - and I confess, to my dismay, that I can tell the difference between real Coach and a knock-off with one glance. It's the hardware - zippers, buckles, like that. I hate that cold, appraising stare, especially when I do it. But I think it's hardwired into the species, at least the female of the species. Men have their own version, but it's not directed towards accessories. Well, I suppose we could be talking about accessories, using a broad definition.-g-
