Gottfried and all, Just used enditall, and did a scan disc (Norton Disc Doctor) and a defragment (Norton Speed Disc) and then a reboot. My task bar is now on the top and no tool bars are visible. I tried dragging down the taskbar, but it only goes down half the screen and stops... and no tool bars are visible at the top (can't drag the top down). Using WIN98 SE with Internet Explorer 5.5 I tried another reboot... this time a hard reboot... and still the same result. Anyone have any ideas as to how to correct this? TIA, Marty
