At a point in time where Intel has, quite suddenly, lost substantial market share in notebooks, they have elected to use their limited .13 capacity to produce $70 desktop chips. It looks like whoever was in charge of memory type selection when rambus was picked has been kicked upstairs to production capacity allocation. Good job.
