Ed,

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately pressing F11 just eliminated the taskbar completely instead of bring it down to the bottom of the screen. I'm lost and in trouble again.

Maybe someone else has an idea as to how the task bar ended up at the top of the screen and how to get it down to the bottom where it belongs. When I'm in IE5.5 the tool bar is fine... just below the taskbar.

Thanks again. Anyone else have any ideas... please?
