Sudan: Minister discusses oil investment with former Swedish prime minister Text of report by Sudanese TV, in Arabic, on 15 July The external relations minister, Dr Mustafa Uthman Isma'il, has held a meeting with a board member of the Lundin Oil Company. The meeting discussed contributions made by the company in the area of oil extraction and development in Wahdah State (southern Sudan). The minister explained to the board member, who is a former Swedish prime minister, the efforts being made by the state for the realization of peace in the country. During the meeting, Chol Deng, the minister of state in the Ministry of External Relations, gave a briefing on the activities of the companies and voluntary organizations, which enhance the efforts of providing relief aid to the displaced war victims in the region.
