My point was obviously that small GPS receivers don't
work inside large building with many layers of
steel enforced concrete,etc, neither close to
high buildings,etc,etc,etc..
(remember iridium and globalstar, even standing under
a tree with too much leaves)

Nor in fast moving vehicles as long integration times are
needed for accurate results, especially if the handset isn't
taped to the outside of the roof of the vehicle, but lies on
the floor between the seats or in a pocket with the antenna
in the wrong direction.

I'm sure the pilots used GPS to find Baghdad, but I
hope the missiles didn't to find the window, that they
got some other help. (like some visual contact, just
like the fire brigade and the ambulance driver)
