1212 support should remain intact for this 1228 assault that I expect to take two or three days. On stronger $ this is a very good note that reason that $ is bid is due to the fact that US economy remains the most stable and US unlike Europe does not have the luxury of exporting it way out of economy.. <I think that there are many corners of our economy that would love to export our way out of this downturn with the help of a weak dollar. However, there are economic forces at play. Global markets support the dollar because the U.S. is the safest, strongest economy out there. Some currency intervention on the part of the G-7 is not going to change that, at least not to anyone's benefit. The dollar is strong because U.S. markets are structurally sounder than competing markets. As such, the dollar will be strong until other markets make the necessary improvements in order to compete more effectively with the U.S. If there's one thing that can bring you down on a Monday morning, it is an economist that seems to have forgotten what economics is. >
