MFN, I meant to executed trade on NYSE, but my trading platform defaults to island and I forgot to switch. I have never seen ISLD send bids or asks to other ecn's for a better price. I believe those are the rules, they just do not do it. I also was emphatic with my broker about why there was no print on the trade (execute 3.5 points under the market and I guess you do not want to broadcast). I was told since it is a NYCE stock and was traded on ISLD they do not have to print the trade (huh, not what I recall learning for my series 7, but I will give them the benifit of the doubt). Unfortuneately my order entry system does not usaully pcik up on bad prices, ocassionally, do not know why. About the only safegaurd it has is often, again not always, stops me from shorting on downticks, which I sometimes want to do, and acuatlly will reject oorder even if not a downtick but close. It's not great, but all I have now. Thanks for the feedback.
