Are you suggesting that the Jews, the most persecuted group in the Western world, do not deserve a national home, while Dutch and Spaniards and Slovenians do? Or are you opposed to the idea of a nation-state in general? I agree with your assertion that Israel is not the solution to anti-semitism in a sense that anti-semitism will exist with or without Israel, but Israel’s existence does allow Jews to avoid anti-semitism’s worst manifestations.
