Lot of Grumbling in the papers recently on how the S&P500's make-up has been changed over the last few years to compete with the NASDZAQ's tech heavy Index. Now it nolonger reflects the broad base of USA stocks, but now heavily weighted towards tech.

This suggests that in trading one should view it as a reflection of the Nas rather then the DOW...., and this alters the historical trading patterns.

In my mind this makes sense and is technically a better short then long these days.
