dave, you appear to have a great amount of common sense about you. something about msft has been bothering me and maybe you can help with it. every single one of msft's customer (i.e., hwp, cpq, dell) has reported that sales stink. how can msft's be flat to up from last year? i am perplexed with accounting, oh i mean, revenue figure.

i will also be interested in seeing what operating margins look like. every other company is cutting prices; guess its good to be a monopoly.

one last thing i was thinking. if the felons in redmond have no respect for the laws of this country as was shown both during the evidentary and procedural parts of the case, how much respect to you think they have for the SEC. at this point in time, i would not believe ANY number coming out of msft (rev. or net).

you know, sad to say but i know a couple of convicted felons. their life is screwed. they cannot get jobs, vote or get bank loans. why should the felons in redmond be treated any different? my answer, they should'nt. they should be castrated to stop their evil ways. my remedy, a $10 billion dollar fine, no acquisitions for 5 years and open up the source code of windows. lastly, any director of the company, during this period of felonous activity, should be banned from the IT industry for life.
rocky.
