Linux stability? Could you tell me which hardware vendor will contractually obligate to a service level agreement with 99.999 uptime? Answer 0. Windows 2000 Data Center? Answer 5

BTW, Linux will panic and crash the text user interface like any spaghetti code Unix server. And it does use shared libraries just like any modern system. But multiple, incompatible, monolithic implementations of system services like data access are a good thing? Linux rocks, yeah right...
