Please refrain from using terms like "know", "prove", "right", "wrong", etc., because they really have no relevance at all to the question at hand.
That is silly. If these terms don't apply here they don't apply anywhere.
Research has shown that at a job interview an interviewer makes a decision to hire a candidate within the first 20 to thirty seconds of an interview. A great deal of what is known by this first impression is not apparent to logical facilities. An average interview takes 35 minutes. The majority of the interview period is spent by the interviewer trying to test their initial impression. This is typical of how human beings involve themselves in life's ventures. People who believe and practice a religion behave similarly. All of us experience periods of doubt. We associate ourselves with a community of similarly minded people, engage in social study, query of the physical universe, strive to live clean lives, and remain mindful of our progress. When we identify faults in ourselves we try to learn from our mistakes and weaknesses to improve our conditions. Scientific inquiry, logical analysis, and a keen awareness of the human condition are very key elements of such life. The human condition carries with it self evidence of the standards of good and evil.
This is getting ridiculous,... People who call themselves "humanists" while denying the basis of the human condition are bots. |
