I believe the key is IBM. The market rallied last time they announced earnings, and there are a lot of companies reporting the same day. If IBM is strong, it could overshadow the weak (EMC, etc) and make for a nice up day. I'm not sure INTC will have the same power as IBM, as they may report some weak numbers, but it should be sufficient to prop up the market on Wednesday.
