Here are some examples of my picks using the Pitbull. I put them in a portfolio to track during May when this thread reinvigorated my interest in the system. I try to cull my candidates to 1 or 2 per week. I didn't actually buy all of these, although I wish I had. QHGI may have stopped me out, but I didn't follow the portfolio that closely since I wasn't actively trading all the the selections.

Each of these candidates was selected because of the chart (in addition to the Pitbull requirements), with particular focus on the "C" and "A" numbers in CANSLIM. They are high growth stocks, NOT high Merit Ranking stocks. I tried to "buy" $2500 worth of stock in each position, thus the differing number of shares.

Symbol Shares Date Entry Current Gain

COST 75 5/12/97 32 34 7/16 + 2 7/16
ORBKF 100 5/05/97 23 30 7/8 + 7 7/8

PIR 100 5/05/97 21 25 + 4

QHGI 75 5/19/97 33 7/8 35 5/16 + 1 7/16
TLAB 50 5/12/97 45 1/2 56 9/16 +11 1/16

Wish I'd kept it up weekly, but I think you get an idea of how my final selection criteria play out.

Comments welcome. John, am I making the same point over again? <g>
