I've only been following part of this thread, so apologies if this is repetitive....but....

Get a subpoena. Charge him with a crime. You must understand law. Why should he give his pants to the police? Read him his rights. Do you realize how easy it is to obtain a subpoena for the pants if the police really wanted the pants?

This is why everybody should consider helping the police. The public will convict a person with one side of the story. Mr. Condit has rights.

I am less concerned with his rights than with whether a crime was committed by him. If he did it, then rights will be a convenient thing to hide behind in obfuscating the truth. If he didn't do it, then convicting him is gonna be tough given his high powered lawyers. So forgive me if I fail to shed tears over the police department's treatment of him.

At interview no. 1, question no. 1, should have been:

Did you and Miss Levy do anything of a sexual nature? (using the definition that everybody except Clinton uses)

Question 2 and 3, when and how often....

and so on from there.

The fact that they didn't handle it that way shows way too much deference for this guy's rights from day one of the investigation.

IMHO....
