The fact is, it's hard to make a case for it pointing down. IBM is a tech stock, but it's been range-bound like so many stocks these last 18 months or so. This is the question that wavers have to ask themselves here: Can good trending down come out of what looks like a range? Has it ever done so? All these ranging stocks argue for a flat correction of some sort.
