I have conserved about 40% recently. I am not a hypocrite.
I bought a more efficient car (not American made of course), turned off the NG heat and AC, cook everything at once, combine driving errands, drive more slowly but get there at the same time. Share rides. Turn off lights. It's easy and effects your lifestyle very little. I also conserve water as much as possible. If everyone in the country did this we would have almost zero problems. Every town should have these new high-tech windmills and solar panels. Every auto dealer ought to offer cleaner fuel cars with tax incentives for this, not for drilling and polluting more. Every appliance ought to be maximum efficient but Bush has cut those standards. One of the first things he did when he got into office. Bush is bought and paid for by the wrong people, my friends.
