From a TECHNICAL perspective: I believe that in the upcoming weeks - something big is going to happen in the markets. If there are no significant warnings - and companies do not guide lower but are confident of at least flat sequential earnings - then the NAS is going to sprint to the mid to high 2000's. The charts would even support this. If, however, the news is of a worsening environment - then new lows may well be on the way. The market is caught in a tight trading range, and it will break - one way or another. The upcoming weeks will be the most important TECHNICALLY that we have seen for years.
