That is amazing, Dennis. And what do you think was going through the minds of the Merrill analysts when they were upgrading Corning to $400?

Do you think they actually analyzed anything? If so, were the numbers real or imaginary? Or were they simply passed a number by their bosses? Sometimes it seems that once you pull away the tall curtain of Wall Street smoke and mirrors, there are just a handful of unimpressive guys pulling all those levers.

I remember how well we all did playing that holidility ahead of Labor Day. . . .the holidility was marked by DLJ spiking 29%. Then remember when I said the we would get slammed by a 4DML the day after Labor Day, 2000? A VERY manipulative move against the small investor. . . and equally predictable.

Yes, the prices of the stocks have changed much in a year. . . .but the inner workings of the market haven't changed at all.
