Animals that attack and kill people should be treated humanely. We have had several pit bull attacks around where I live, and the animals have been humanely put to sleep. Try to remember that the man who threw the dog is a animal also, a human one, as we all are. No matter what he did, he does not deserve to be brutalized for his crime- because that turns YOU and me and all of society, into what he is. I feel the same way about child molesters. I do not want them brutalized. I think, because they are so very difficult to rehabilitate, they should be killed painlessly. But wishing brutality on another person turns you into the thing you wish to punish. (imo)
