John F, here's the problem with ignore -- About one in ten of PE's posts is worth reading. These are mostly news items about Intel products, servers announcements, etc.

I'd rather not throw out the baby with the bath water, if I can avoid it. If selective short term banning could train Paul to be a good boy, we'd all be better off. Otherwise, if he continues his derogatory posts and he is not banned, I too will ignore him.
