The key word in your post is "bred." They have been bred as such for hundreds of generations (in dog years). They can be compared to humans on phencyclidine (PCP) ("angel dust").

Some jurisdictions have laws stating that when in public, pit bulls must on a leash AND be muzzled.

I know, I promised Poet I would say no more about pit bulls. I will be quiet now.
