"If you come into the country illegally, you are a crim."

So, anyone who violates any idiotic law that is passed to to political pandering to voters emotions is a crim? Sorry, I don't subscribe to your definition of crim. If your definition were valid, then the folks who formed the underground railroad to help slaves to freedom were crims. After all, they were breaking the law.

There are too many GD laws on the books now. In this case, the law is an ass. No, I am not volunteering to support every Mexican who wishes to live in the US. But the reality is that most who are here "illegally" (ie, without the rubberstamp of some gov't beaurocrat) are hard working people interested in improving their lot in life. Exactly the sort of people who built this country from the ground up. I'll bet we wouldn't have to go back too many generations in your family to find immigrants who came to this country with the exact same motivation as these Mexicans.

Shame on you as well!

Regards,

Barb
