Yesterday, I swallowed hard and bought a bunch of Bangkok Bank at $8. Naturally, the SET and Bangkok Bank plunged today. I'm not too worried, but it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

I guess that's the price you pay for being a value investor. I try to buy when there's blood in the streets, and Thailand is looking pretty awful. I don't think this is the bottom yet, but once things turn around, I expect Bangkok Bank to soar.

BTW, thanks for the Thai Business Day link, Jeff. The news it reports isn't encouraging (today, at least), but it's better than knowing nothing.
