another item i came across,but it is anecdotal,i can't find a statistic on it.But it is talking of Boomers that made so much in the past 20 years that they managed to realize their dream of retiring in their 50s.And that money is in a big part going into travel.
So,yet another potential downside of the post bubble,is the number of people going into early retirement.
Before you give anecdotal contrary evidence,i am talking only those in their 50s(those affluent Middle Classers who once were "tune-in/drop-out" HipPies:),they have been riding this market for the last 20 years.The downturn was just a signal to close their account with the golden goose.Max
