I much prefer the long side as I tend to want to see the positive aspect in things. I cannot stand negative thinking and when the markets go down, I see it but tend not to post because it goes against my inner beliefs. I think many posters are that way which explains the lack of posts in a downtrend.

As for promotion, I deliberately left out my long buys so as to not look like I am promoting my own buys. That is why i left it generalized and focused on the general market trend.

Today was a blow to the crash scenario, we needed a catalyst over the last days and one failed to materialize, now we have to see what happens from here until the 23'rd of July because that is the last day in my books that a low was to be set, but it was also based on an accelerated decline ( gap downs, expanding day ranges, closing prices at or near low of the day , and volume increases)that began monday and speed up into tomorrow, retraced a bit into thursday with a low low on Monday the 23'rd. Now that 2 of the 3 bad days have past without damage, i must assume that the scenario has been negated and also that the negative astros culminated today , has passed without major bad news, means that maybe , just maybe , the bulls have escaped some serious damage this month.
