Obviously, I don't know how the Procyte management thinks, but here is my wild guess: They don't have the money to run trichomin thru the FDA and for various reasons, no drug company wants to buy it, at least at the moment. They also have some other interesting technology that nobody else seems presently interested in either, for reasons I can't figure out. Sometimes the drug trade don't make a lot of sense. Also, Iamin gel (TM) might be about the best thing for wound healing around, but it is going to take a while for it to establish a market in this crowded field.

But what they do have is a product (Graftcyte, TM ) that is unique to a rather specialized market (hair transplant surgeons). Here, everybody belongs to the Society ( me included ). So promotional costs are fairly low-- an add or two in the monthly bulletin and a dog and pony show at the meetings. If it works fast enough, they have a product to support the company long enough that the other stuff gets really moving. And there is always the possibility that people will start using Graftcyte products "off label" for hair loss per se, which would really make a big market.
